Have you ever been moved after hearing someone tell you about their experience? If you have been: • injured or had a family member/friend injured or die • first on the scene at a serious road incident • a witness to a road incident • a driver involved in a serious road incident • an emergency service worker attending a road incident Your story could save a life.
Are you a people-person who is also a stickler for order and organisation? Then we need your help to coordinate our amazing volunteers and support the team at large! With guidance from the Volunteer Manager, you will help onboard new volunteers, conduct inductions, update our database and roster, and more! You will have the opportunity to practice valuable HR skills and gain experience while making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their families.

The Homework Club Volunteer role will provide support to students within the program by supporting students in completing any set homework and supporting student to interact with their own educational needs. For students in Grade 4 to year 12 for help with homework tasks. Additionally, the role will assist staff in implementing and operating the Homework Club throughout the session.

Our Greyhound Enrichment Volunteers work at both our facilities in Seymour and Tullamarine, providing vital socialisation and enrichment activities for greyhounds housed in our kennels whilst they wait to be adopted. Activities undertaken include walking, grooming, practice on stairs, general socialisation, and training activities. We also have many other activities. These activities help improve the well-being of the greyhounds while in our kennels.

Solve Disability Solutions are looking for technical volunteers to design, make/modify equipment for people with a disability. If you are an engineer, tradesman, upholsterer or expert "handyperson" this could be an ideal volunteering role for you. Note, you need to access a workshop and tools as facilities aren't provided at our central office. You are able to make or modify the equipment in your own time, there are no set days or times to volunteer. It's very flexible!
