The TAC L2P Program matches Volunteer Mentors with a Learner Driver (aged 16 to 21) as their in-car supervising driver. Eligible young people in the Program do not have access to traditional supports to accrue the mandatory 120 hours of supervised driving experience. Volunteers assist the Learners to build their confidence and awareness of safe driving practice as well as being a positive role model.

Enjoy exploring Manningham's parks and gardens while taking light walks with older Chinese residents. Following the activity, join the participants for morning tea and some Cantonese conversation. As a volunteer, you'll collect two or three clients from their homes, drive them to meet other volunteers and clients at a park. You will accompany them while walking, and then return the clients to their homes after the walk and a light morning tea, using your own car or a Doncare car.
Enable isolated older people to attend social events by driving them from their homes to a movie theatre, having lunch afterwards and returning them home.
