Companions is a program bringing regular, cheerful and uplifting contact to residents in aged care facilities in the Glen Eira community. We run a fun weekly program with residents, which includes singing songs, reading poems, reminiscing, playing with sensory objects such as balls, keys, wool, newspaper, toys, and other day to day items. It is an opportunity to engage with the elderly who have very limited interaction with others using basic tools and ideas.
