Enjoy a day out with a group of friendly older people, providing basic assistance, such as support on and off the bus or helping to collect meals or place orders during lunch at a venue. Staff are present at all times.
Help us keep our fleet of vehicles clean and tidy by taking them to the car wash or mechanic as needed - flexible opportunity during the week. Driving Licence and good driving record essential!
Opportunity to support a community-driven food relief initiative. Volunteer needed once to twice a month on Tuesdays 12:30PM-2:30PM, to drive a hire van to collect produce from Camperdown before dropping produce off to Glebe Youth Service and then returning the van to its spot. The hire van is paid for by us and will be booked for you at a location close to Glebe Youth Service (84 Glebe Point Road, Glebe).
Opportunity to support a community-driven food relief initiative. Volunteer needed once to twice a month on Thursday mornings 10:00am-12:00pm to drive a hire van to collect produce from Coles Broadway before dropping produce off to Glebe Youth Service and then parking the van in a local spot; and/or 12:30PM-3:00PM, to drive a hired van to deliver food hampers to approx. 30 households in the local area, supported by an experienced volunteer; and then return the van to a carpark in Pyrmont.
We are looking for a person who loves working with people and has a naturally "can do" attitude to help us with managing our rosters for food deliveries that take place every Tuesday and Friday. The role is crucial to keeping all of our volunteers informed, on track and happy. The volunteers are the backbone of our charity and so this is a crucial role.
We are looking for people who enjoy interaction with people and would enjoy working with us on our events and gala days. The events are great fun.
We are looking for volunteers with an interest in meeting people who would like to enhance their own lives and those of our residents.

Are you an outgoing 'person who speaks Italian? Would you like to come into our Malabar village & brighten up the life of one our Italian background residents? Are you a kind and caring person who can share an hour or two each week or fortnight to make a difference in the life of an older person? If so, this extremely rewarding volunteer role is for you.
Volunteer required to visit an older man living in his own home in Maroubra for social support and friendship on a weekly or fortnightly basis. This man enjoys chatting over a coffee. You would need to be fluent in Greek and have an awareness of the Greek culture. You would also need to be available on weekdays. It would be great if you could visit him regularly to reduce his feelings of loneliness and isolation.
