Role: To assist the Management Committee by drafting media releases on matters such as: • promoting our projects, campaigns, etc.; • endorsing projects, campaigns, etc. of our Partner/Alliance members; • promoting international (and Australian) environmental observance dates (e.g. World Environment Day (5 June) and National Recycling Week (10-16 November)); and • responding to current environmental issues of interest and/or concern.

The Treasurer will be elected to the Management Committee for a period of 12 months at our Annual General Meeting held in November. The role of the Treasurer is to be responsible for the financial supervision of HOPE Inc. to allow the Management Committee to provide good governance.
