We are currently looking for multiple fluent and enthusiastic Volunteer Translators who want to work with us in supporting vulnerable people across Victoria. You’ll be part of an innovative new project co-ordinated by STREAT called Moving Feast that is helping to feed vulnerable people during the COVID-19 pandemic and also to access information and resources to support their overall wellbeing.
The facilitator of a pain support group (PSG) helps the group to: share their experiences of living with chronic pain, educate the group about self-management techniques and to effectively use healthcare settings. The PSG provides an avenue for people with pain to socialise with others and reduce the isolation of chronic pain. The group meets once a month for 1.5 to 2 hours.
We are looking for someone who is a bit of a wiz with Microsoft 365, to set it up for our small management team to use. The location of the volunteer is not critical as all of the work can be done remotely.
