Solaris Cancer Care offers evidence based complementary therapies that fall under three categories- Touch/Body Based Therapies, Mind-Body Techniques or Energy Based Therapies. This position seeks supportive, empathetic long term volunteers who are able to respond appropriately to callers telephoning the crisis line and in face-to-face communications. These people may be expressing suicidal feelings or are in despair. Annual mid year intake and comprehensive training. Note that role is rostered across weekdays, weekends and nights - the Crisis Line operates 24 hours 7 days a week.
