Lifeline Direct (LLD) is the direct service delivery arm and a fully owned subsidiary of Lifeline Australia (LLA). It was initially established to provide a consolidation pathway for local Lifeline Centres to share resources, skills and experiences in developing a strong service coordination, a culture seeking operational excellence, shared governance activities and improved outcome.

Be the welcoming face for visitors, support daily office tasks, and even help care for our ambassador dog. With just a few hours each week, you’ll make a real impact, build community connections, and support life-changing services for people with low vision or blindness.

We are seeking to recruit volunteer couples or families who are interested in helping children by becoming mentors (whom we call Aunties & Uncles) to a child in your local area. We aim to build a long-term relationship that is fun and rewarding for everyone involved. There are children waiting for matches to an auntie & uncle now.
