The purpose of the Ladies Outing Group – Driver position is to provide respite to carers of the program by collecting clients (the care recipients) from their homes and taking them on a weekly outing to various venues. The Ladies Outing Group operates on a weekly basis each Friday. The times can vary depending on the venue visited on that particular day and are usually between 8.00 am and 4.00 pm. The Comfort Program Volunteer is a team of specifically trained volunteers who assist with settling and comforting babies within the Special Care Nursery.
