Reception/Admin volunteers are the first contact point by 5mbs for listeners, members and others. We are looking for friendly, approachable volunteers who are able to engage those who contact the Station either by phone or in person, and who are willing to assist in a variety of administrative tasks such a document control, giveaways, events support, etc.

Having a baby in the Special Care Nursery can be a very distressing time for parents and families, length of stay can vary from weeks to months depending on illness or prematurity. We understand that parents are unable to stay with their baby all the time as they have other family and work commitments or may reside in country areas. The Comfort Program Volunteer is a team of specifically trained volunteers who assist with settling and comforting babies within the Special Care Nursery.

ThreeD radio, a community radio station run entirely by volunteers, needs a person to join a small team who look after reception and most other admin tasks that are required to run a radio station. The Friends of the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Incorporated, Shops Auxiliary Division run two shops within the Women’s and Children’s Hospital (WCH), called Rainbows and Vic’s. Monies raised by sales in the shops are donated to purchase equipment for the WCH. MNDSA receive no state government funding for our services. As such we are reliant on fundraising, donations, sponsorship's and successful grant applications to fund our work.
