Volunteering at HammondCare is a great experience for you, and a great way to make a difference for people in need. Volunteer with passion and purpose with HammondCare, an independent Christian charity specialising in dementia care.

With your assistance as a mini bus driver, residents will enjoy short outings as you drive them on short local trips for 1-2 hours and it may include a picnic morning tea or lunch. You will be accompanied by one of our care staff who will look after the residents personal care needs.

As the bus is a 10 seater, anyone with a current drivers license and five years good driving history can volunteer if you live within 20 minutes of the following locations. We will provide training on driving the mini bus.

• Hammondville
• Miranda
• North Turramurra
• Wahroonga

Successful applicants will be required to show proof of their current Australian drivers license, Covid19 vaccination evidence, and complete a national police check which HammondCare will organise and pay for.
