Coordinating reception is like coordinating the hub of this organization. Volunteers on reception will provide a warm and friendly welcome to users of the Community Centre, Goolwa. Our volunteer will provide helpful information to visitors and will actively promote The Community in a positive manner. The receptionist will take phone calls, messages and bookings for the Centre and its programs and also sign volunteer sheet on arrival/departure, ensure urn is on, full and top up coffee, tea, sugar. Utilise reception diary for awareness of meetings/bookings, roster changes or scheduled appointments. Record phone messages in book and keep log of bookings/enquiries in EOI exercise book. Cash handling is required to process incoming transactions from sales of cards, hire of flags and membership fees. Errands requiring the use of company accounts may be required by Centre Manager - this may involve the use of your own vehicle.
