Laundry Service Volunteer
Royal Adelaide Hospital, Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre and Repat Health Precinct VolunteersWorking in the Volunteers area, complete with laundry equipment, the laundry Volunteer provides cleaning of patient and some non sterile hospital items each weekday. All machinery supplied and elevated to provide a safe and easy routine for the Volunteer to undertake. When requests are received from wards through a staff member the Volunteer will collect a set of clothes from stocks held in the laundry for delivery to the patient. No heavy lifting or distance walking required.
All volunteers are required to undergo an SA Health criminal history check. Positive attitude and happy disposition required to work in the Volunteers offices and laundry.
