Studfield Wantirna Community News is a bi-monthly community newspaper put together by a volunteer team who are local community members.

The purpose of the newspaper is to strengthen our community by providing a forum for local news and information. It gives local people an opportunity to connect with their community and to find out more about the groups, activities and services that are available. We aim to highlight local achievements, promote local businesses, support local initiatives, provide an opportunity for local people feel connected with Wantirna’s history and build a sense of identity within our community.

Assistance required:

• To liaise with advertisers in our local distribution areas of Wantirna, Wantirna South, Knoxfield and Scoresby.

• To assist with the distribution of the paper in these areas

• General knowledge of small businesses in the above areas

• Well developed interpersonal communication skills are necessary

• To provide support to clients, and to work closely with the current committee

• No specific hours, but must be committed to the deadline of each edition

• Training will be provided by the Advertising Manager
