Vinnies Whyalla is a lovely community shop with a friendly team. A great place for long-time locals and those new to the area who want to get involved in their community. Vinnies shop volunteers do a variety of work. Would you like to join our team?

Our Vinnies shop located on Essington Lewis Avenue is looking for volunteers, mainly Front of House positions (helping customers, taking sales and displaying stock). If you have some spare time during the week, we would love to hear from you.

Volunteer tasks can include:

• Providing helpful and courteous customer service – greeting people and answering queries
• Processing sales – using a simple computer register, EFTPOS/credit card facilities and cash handling
• Re-stocking shop floor – displaying and merchandising
• Stock preparation – sorting, cleaning, steaming and pricing
• Store housekeeping – tidying, dusting, and cleaning
• General shop duties

• Minimum age 15 years

All Vinnies volunteers (minimum age 15 years) require a National Police Clearance prior to commencing. Note: This is at no cost to you.
