The Social Network is one part of Befriend Inc, a Perth based social enterprise with a vision of an inclusive, connected world. Our mission is to break the barriers and social rules that get in the way of making diverse friendships happen. The Social Network brings people from diverse backgrounds, creating the opportunity to form new friendships and connections.

The role of the Event Host is to plan and host small, inclusive social gatherings to bring together members of the Network. Members of the Network are from all walks of life, including people with intellectual or physical disabilities, mental health issues, or people from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds, as well as general members of the community.
