The Outpost Inc are seeking Cooks and Cook's Assistants to prepare meals for our guests. This will involve cooking large numbers of food to a recipe with donated food as we serve up to 70 people per day. i.e. this includes chopping and slicing raw ingredients, mixing, following a recipe and cooking meals on a stove and in an oven. Clean up is also required to leave the space as you find it.

We provide healthy and nutritional meals for people in need who attend our venue during the day for lunch and in the evening for dinner. This may include people who are homeless or people from the community simply doing it tough. We pride ourselves on providing Yummy Food and Homely Vibes with and for Awesome people!

If you are interested and would you like to use your cooking skills in the service of the community, making new friends along the way, this is the position for you!! There is NO customer focused interaction as the cooking occurs when we are closed.
