Community Visiting Volunteer - Southern Area
Southern Adelaide Palliative ServicesVolunteers are matched with clients. The Community Visiting role may include: providing respite for carers providing support for families providing companionship and support assisting with recreational activities / hobbies *assisting with outings, shopping or transportation to appointments
Requirements:
- Good listening skills
- Understanding of palliative care
- Police Clearance and reference checks
- Able to attend quarterly meetings and mandatory annual WHS training
Note:
- Initial interviews 4-8 weeks prior to training intakes
- Training intakes twice a year April / October
