Community Visiting Volunteer - Southern Area

Southern Adelaide Palliative Services

Volunteers are matched with clients. The Community Visiting role may include: providing respite for carers providing support for families providing companionship and support assisting with recreational activities / hobbies *assisting with outings, shopping or transportation to appointments

Requirements:

  1. Good listening skills
  2. Understanding of palliative care
  3. Police Clearance and reference checks
  4. Able to attend quarterly meetings and mandatory annual WHS training

Note:

  1. Initial interviews 4-8 weeks prior to training intakes
  2. Training intakes twice a year April / October
