Key Tasks:

• Support the healthy Eating facilitator
• Food preparation
• Food presentation
• Cleaning & maintenance of food utensils
• Operating the industrial dishwasher

Skills/Knowledge/Personal Qualities:

• Experience in kitchen duties
• Excellent hygiene practices
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage time
• Ability to work as a team member
• Ability to relate to a diverse range of people

Time Commitment:

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 9.30 -1.30 pm

Special Requirements:

• Must possess a current Department of Human Services (DHS) Aged Care Sector and NDIS Disability check.
• Previous kitchen experience (either voluntary or paid), safe food handling skills, good communication skills, able to work in a team setting, empathy to both clients that are ageing and disabled.
