1:1 Resident Gardening support – Seaford

We provide a blend of low care, high care, transitional and respite care facilities, as well as specialist memory units for individuals who have dementia and related disorders. Eldercare - Seaford is seeking a volunteer gardening assistant who would help in our residents gardening group. Times and days can be discussed directly with the facilities Lifestyle Coordinator based on your availability.
This position is suited to someone with:
- A pleasant, friendly nature and good communication skills
- A knowledge or an interest for gardening and the outdoors
- To be enthusiastic and happy to show and assist residents with the experience of gardening
Reliability and commitment is required to share agreed days/time weekly to support the 1:1 resident activity and social engagement.
Mandatory annual Influenza vaccination, Covid vaccinations and Police clearance for working with vulnerable persons.
