About Pine Rivers Community Assisted Transport Service

Pine Rivers Community Assisted Transport Service (CATS) empowers clients to live a fulfilled life in their own homes and keep their community connections. CATS is committed to providing professional, caring support for older people living at home to help them remain independent for as long as possible. Our qualified transport team offers door-to-door services that make sure you get to where you need to be. Volunteers provide transport for clients in their own vehicles and in CATS vehicles. As well as providing transport, volunteers can also provide social support by way of help with shopping and accessing facilities.

About the role of Volunteer Driver Assistant

CATS Volunteer Driver Assistants assist our drivers on their transport routes and provide company and support to our clients. No drivers license is required.

CATS runs Monday to Friday and volunteer transport driver shifts are available mornings and afternoons.

As part of our team of dedicated and caring volunteer drivers, you will be provided with a uniform as well as training and support to perform your role efficiently and safely.

CATS is a welcoming and rewarding place to volunteer where you will meet many wonderful people from various backgrounds and learn great new skills that may assist you both personally and professionally.
