Recreational Support Volunteer

Our Social Inclusion Service is looking for an energetic and reliable volunteer to assist people with a physical or an intellectual disability to enjoy recreational and social activities on Thursday nights. Activities consist of ten pin bowling, restaurant dinners, pub meals etc.

  • Volunteer will need a full licence and own comprehensively insured car to help with transport and get to venues. (travel reimbursements paid)
  • Experience with disabilities preferred
  • Need to be available Thursday evening 5:30pm-10:30pm, twice a month

ABOUT US: Parramatta’s Home Support and Community Services Team provides services for older people, adults living with a disability and carers of these people. Our team of almost 150 Volunteers across 5 different services are vital to our services. Volunteers are supported with training, travel reimbursements, and ongoing supervision and support. There are opportunities to mix with other volunteers throughout the year and be a part of a valued team. If you are reliable and have a passion for helping your community, we'd love you to consider joining our team of volunteers. All volunteers must undergo a criminal record check and provide 2 referees.
