Share your time and companionship through weekly visits with an elderly lady living in an Aged Care Facility in Oakleigh.

We’re looking for a chatty volunteer fluent in English who enjoys talking about the arts, literature and theatre.

Visits can be spent chatting or sharing a simple leisure activity together. Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference in this resident’s life - reducing loneliness and improving well-being.

We ask volunteers to commit to visits for at least 6 months. This is an ongoing role, and we hope to support your friendship for as long as possible.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement, and invitations to gatherings with other MiCare volunteers.
