We are moving into brand new Operating Theatres at Children's Hospital Westmead and are looking for empathetic and energetic volunteers to assist patients and their parents/carers during the pre-operation part of their procedure.

We are a very large complex, encompassing a large admissions area on level 3, 14 theatres, and 3 laboratories on level 4.

In our busy theatre environment, having dedicated volunteers means our clinical staff can focus on medical care while you provide the compassionate human connection that makes all the difference. You become a familiar, reassuring face in an otherwise clinical setting, and families genuinely appreciate having someone there just for them during this vulnerable time.
