Tanya’s Home Limited is seeking a Community Outreach Support volunteer to assist with connecting, supporting, and engaging mothers who are navigating addiction recovery, child protection involvement, and other complex life challenges.

This role focuses on practical outreach and emotional support, helping women feel less isolated and more supported while they engage with services. Outreach may occur via phone, message, online platforms, or in person where appropriate.

Key Duties: • Provide regular check ins and outreach support to mothers connected with Tanya’s Home • Support engagement with community services, programs, and appointments • Assist with follow ups and basic notes where required • Offer encouragement, information, and connection during challenging periods • Escalate concerns to the Tanya’s Home team when additional support is needed

Skills and Experience Needed: • Good communication and listening skills • Empathy and a non judgemental approach • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries • Lived experience is valued but not required
