Volunteer Bookkeeper

Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial records of our organisation. This role is perfect for someone who wants to contribute their skills to a meaningful cause while supporting our small, passionate volunteer team.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily income and expenses accurately in Xero accounting software.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Process invoices, reimbursements, and payments.
- Maintain organised financial records and supporting documentation.
- Prepare simple monthly financial summaries for the team and board.
- Support basic budgeting and reporting as needed.
Skills and Experience
- Experience with bookkeeping using Xero software.
- Strong attention to detail and organisation.
- Comfortable handling confidential financial information.
- Previous experience in a not-for-profit or small organisation is an advantage.
