We are seeking proactive and passionate individuals to support the continued growth and development of Dodgeball across communities in New South Wales.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude; strong communication and interpersonal skills; empathy; and a commitment to community values and ethics. Most importantly, they will show a willingness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to the success of others.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:-
- Managing, organising, and operating NSW Dodgeball League activities
- Assisting with or overseeing social media and marketing initiatives
- Supporting the development and management of community documents and forms, including player and league policies aligned with NSWDL’s objectives
- Assisting with conduct, officiating, and event coordination
- Supporting the operations of NSWDL rounds and attending all official events
- Participating in collective decision-making on behalf of the community, particularly in relation to NSWDL’s goal of achieving State Sporting Organisation (SSO) status
- Contributing to the strategic direction and development of both Foam and Cloth divisions
- Ensuring all equipment and inventory are maintained in accordance with OHS standards
- Liaising with stakeholders, including local councils, venues, and vendors, as required
- Serving as a point of contact for the NSWDL Committee, Players’ Hub, and broader community network
- Acting as a reliable and supportive representative of the NSWDL
