Sydney Multicultural Community Services, ACVVS program serves culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) senior residents, and any other senior residents who may be isolated by limited family support, language and cultural barriers.

We deeply value our volunteers.

Your assistance will greatly help reduce isolation and enhance the senior residents' quality of life.

Essential Criteria:

• Respect the rights of older residents, including confidentiality, privacy and maintain dignity.

• Exercise a duty of care at all times.

• Communication skills (listening and speaking skills).

• Emotional qualification skill, teamwork, reporting skill and other skills that will help assist the senior community.

Requirements:

• COVID-19 - 3 doses OR COVID-19 - 2 doses plus annual flu vaccine is a MUST.

• NDIS screening check; it is free for volunteers.

• Training provided.
