Are you interested in assisting us to deliver this exciting international competition and learn more about the world’s most inclusive sport? We are looking for a group of 20-25 people per day from Wed 5 Nov till Mon 10 Nov 2025 at the AIS in Canberra. The positions that need filling are time keepers/line judges that will be seated behind a IPAD during matches and directed by the referee. Matches last 1 hour and there are 6-7 matches per day. Each day we need volunteers to be at the courts from 9am until approx 6pm. You will be given full instruction, a Tshirt, Lunch and refreshment and a certificate of Volunteer service. You can choose to assist for a whole day or part of the day, if you work then a weekend is great, or just a few of the days. It is not difficult nor physically demanding. There are also general duties available-helping with lunches, sweeping courts, assisting athletes onto court. All athletes are in wheelchairs, from 10 different countries staying at the AIS and compete at international level. It is a fun, competitive, inclusive learning experience like you have not experienced before! All volunteers will be supported by Boccia staff.
