The Global Shapers is an international network founded by the World Economic Forum (WEF) to give young people (aged 18-29) a voice and the opportunity to create change in their local communities. All of our projects seek to advance at least 1 of the United National Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our Volunteers are expected to at a minimum;

• Attend monthly meetings;
• Join a project team;
• Put in 2-4 hours of work a fortnight (remote)

The current skills/passions our Hub putting a high value on are:

• Graphic Design
• Social Media marketing / engaging
• Grants securing

Our Hub is open to all passionate individuals regardless of expertise or viewpoints as long as our values align with our mission statement.

Our volunteers gain access to a worldwide network all looking to decrease inequality and increase living conditions around the world. They are also given the freedom to upskill in any given field, whether public speaking, building networks or leading projects.

Our Shapers major takeaway is the feeling of taking a concept and create tangible impact in their local community. This experience is critical for all those who wish to be able build projects and movements from the ground up.
