Volunteer Grant & Tender Writer
EPIC – Empowering People in Construction is a certified social enterprise working to create psychologically safe, inclusive workplaces across the construction industry. Through coaching, mentoring, training and AI-driven learning, we support underrepresented voices and challenge the status quo in one of Australia’s toughest industries - construction.
We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Volunteer Grant & Tender Writer to help us identify and secure funding to expand our impact.
🔹 Key Duties:
Research relevant grant and tender opportunities across government, corporate and philanthropic sectors
Prepare clear, compelling and tailored applications
Work with EPIC to gather data, program information, and impact statistics
Maintain a calendar of deadlines and track submissions
Assist with reporting on successful grants (where needed)
🔹 Skills and Experience:
Strong writing skills with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to research and assess funding opportunities
Prior experience with grant writing and tenders
Organised, self-motivated, and aligned with EPIC’s values
Passionate about mental health, inclusion, or social change
🔹 Training Provided:
Induction into EPIC’s purpose
Access to past applications, templates, and brand messaging
Ongoing support via email or Zoom
