The Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association (ASCCA) is seeking two passionate and skilled Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) to join our Board. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise in fundraising, strategic communications, or stakeholder engagement to a national not-for-profit that empowers older Australians to thrive in the digital age. Since 1998, ASCCA has led the way in digital literacy for seniors, supporting community clubs and individuals across Australia. As we scale to meet the needs of over 4.3 million seniors, your leadership will help guide our strategic direction and impact.

Key Responsibilities

As a Non-Executive Director, you will: • Provide strategic oversight and governance in line with ASCCA’s mission. • Contribute to financial stewardship, risk management, and policy development. • Support the CEO and leadership team with independent judgment and guidance. • Represent ASCCA at key events and in stakeholder engagements.

Desired Expertise

We are particularly seeking candidates with experience in one or more of the following: • Fundraising & Development – including grant strategy, sponsorship, and donor engagement. • Strategic Communications & Marketing – including media, branding, and digital presence. • Stakeholder Engagement – with strong networks in government, industry, or community sectors.

What We’re Looking For

• Prior board or governance experience (preferably in the NFP sector). • A passion for digital inclusion and community impact. • Strong communication, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills. • Familiarity with governance, compliance, and financial oversight.
