Key duties:

• Helping to set up and pack away the venue before and after the group program

• Preparing, serving, tea, coffee and light refreshments to group members where needed.

• Engaging in conversation with individuals in the groups and assisting to ensure the group environment is welcoming and inclusive for all members.

• Supporting individual group members to participate in program activities as well as to interact with other group members.

• Where appropriate, leading activities in areas of individual skill/interest (eg craft activities, art projects, book discussions etc).

• Assisting NNC staff to monitor the wellbeing of individual clients through informal observation during the group activities and reporting any changes to staff for follow up.

• Communicate important information to NNC regarding any risks or incidents that are observed during the group activity.
