Join LatinOz QLD as a Volunteer Human Resources Coordinator
What You'll Do in This Role:
- Recruitment and Selection: You'd be the key person to find and interview new volunteers, seeking the right profiles for our diverse programs and events (like Lazos Latinos, QWINBIZ, and other community projects).

Onboarding and Welcome: You'd ensure every new volunteer completes their onboarding process smoothly, making them feel part of the LatinOz QLD family from day one.

Follow-up and Support: You'd maintain close communication with our volunteers, making sure they're comfortable in their roles, resolving their concerns, and communicating their needs to the steering committee.

Retention and Development: You'd work on strategies to foster the loyalty and commitment of our volunteers, creating an environment where they feel valued and motivated to continue contributing.

Documentation: You'd assist in the creation and updating of key human resources documents, ensuring they're aligned with our policies and organizational standards.
Who We're Looking For:
- Someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of connecting with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and processes.

Proactive and empathetic, with a genuine interest in the well-being of volunteers.

Previous experience in human resources, volunteer coordination, or similar roles is highly valued, but not essential if you have the drive and aptitude.

Speaking Spanish is an advantage for communicating with our community, but it's not a mandatory requirement. Your passion for LatinOz QLD's mission is what matters most.

Commitment of approximately 1-2 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to the role's needs.
