A Social Visits Volunteer who can make a meaningful difference - One visit at a time!

Are you interested in tools and tinkering? Are you handy with wood or other crafty projects?

We have a client who who misses working with tools and is looking for a mate to visit him at home in Braidwood. He would enjoy a volunteer to visit him, talk about tinkering, watch a DIY program, or perhaps build some simple wood craft projects together (hand built- not using tools).

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
