Volunteering WA

As the peak organisation for volunteering in WA, we are the leading voice for volunteers and Volunteering Involving Organisations (VIO’s), working to strengthen the sector and promote the benefits of volunteering. This position:

We are seeking someone with digital platform, website development and/or interactive learning platforms expertise to understand the feasibility of developing an interactive digital platform for volunteer involving organisations to work through training and development activities. This would include the ability for participants to login, complete work and save progress, have milestones celebrated and for each stage completed to then auto populate a model as they work through the activities. In addition, the potentiality of including short training videos as they progress through the activities.

Volunteering WA are seeking a consultant to have an initial discussion with to understand and discuss the feasibility and potential options for this. We welcome interest from anyone with any of the following skills.

Skills Criteria

• Experience in developing and implementing leisure management systems. Specifically, modules and activities for users to progress through
• Experience in work flows - completing tasks to populate end products e.g. program logic.
• Experience in developing and implementing microsites - with the ability for member login.
• Experience in developing digital platforms.
• Experience in information technology.
• Experience in consultation.
• Experience of engaging with volunteer involving organisations.
• Understanding of digital platforms development costs and time commitment.
