About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Cybersecurity Specialist who is fluent in Spanish to join our dynamic team of volunteers. This role will contribute to the development and delivery of practical cybersecurity content and community workshops focused on online safety for parents and children. You will help build awareness about digital threats such as scams, phishing, and privacy breaches – with a focus on the Australian digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Develop or review cybersecurity content in Spanish for parents and families Support or deliver community workshops (online or in person) on topics like scam prevention, device security, and parental controls Assist in aligning content with current Australian online safety regulations and standards (e.g., eSafety Commissioner guidance) Contribute to the localisation and accessibility of resources to meet community needs Optional: Act as a public speaker at events, supporting digital literacy in culturally sensitive ways

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in the cybersecurity field – technical, educational, or policy-related
• Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written)
• Good understanding of Australian cybersecurity regulations and resources
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• (Desirable but not required) Experience in public speaking or community engagement
