As a volunteer, you’ll help reduce social isolation by providing friendship, engaging in activities like card games, chatting, or working on hobbies together. This is a chance to make a real impact on someone's life by offering your time and kind connection .

Wesley Mission Queensland's Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Program aims to enrich the lives of seniors who may feel lonely or socially isolated. Volunteers don’t provide clinical or personal care but offer meaningful interactions like playing games, taking walks, or sharing a cuppa.

Requirements:

• 30 minutes a week or 1 hour a fortnight
• Security check which can be applied for through us free of charge
• Follow COVID-19 safety guidelines.
