Who We Are:

Women in Aviation Australian Chapter (WAI Australia) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering, supporting, and advocating for women in aviation, space and aerospace. Through events, mentorship, and outreach, we work to create a more inclusive and diverse industry.

We’re looking for a creative and organised Social Media Coordinator to help us share our mission and inspire the next generation of women in aviation! About the Role:

As a Social Media Coordinator (volunteer), you will:

✅ Design engaging content using Canva ✅ Schedule and manage posts across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) ✅ Engage with our audience by responding to comments and messages ✅ Support key initiatives, including Girls in Aviation Day and scholarship programs

Who We’re Looking For:

✔️ Passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in aviation ✔️ Experienced in social media management (or eager to learn!) ✔️ Proficient with Canva for content creation ✔️ Organised, responsive, and able to work independently ✔️ Available 2–4 hours per week
