We’re seeking enthusiastic and committed volunteers to join our team for our school holiday program for Young Carers in Hervey Bay!

At Little Dreamers, we're all about giving Young Carers the chance to enjoy some well-deserved fun and freedom. This school holidays, get ready to join us for an Epic Sports Fun Day, packed with Basketball, Free G, Pickleball and gym!

What’s the Volunteer Role Like? As a volunteer, you'll get to hang out with awesome Young Carers, participate in cool activities, and help make sure the day runs smoothly.

Your tasks will include:

• Assisting Little Dreamers staff with organizing and supporting the kids throughout the day

• Helping with activities and games

• Pitching in with setup and cleanup

Commitment:

• Dates: Tuesday 30th September, 9am to 2:30pm.
• Opportunity for ongoing volunteer positions!
• Get placed on our volunteer database and be contacted for future holiday programs or events.
• FYI: Many workplaces offer volunteering leave with enough notice if you're working full-time.

What You Need to Join Us:

• An interview with a Little Dreamers staff member
• A valid Working with Children Check (we can guide you on this!)
• Stay in touch with the team and your assigned Young Carers – we like to keep the good vibes flowing!

Ethical & Responsible: We need volunteers who understand how to interact with vulnerable people and know when to ask for guidance.
