Provide telephone support to help seekers using the Griefline framework
-
Support forum users by reading and responding to posts and initiating new conversations using the Griefline Volunpeer guidelines
-

Use the Griefline specified systems and tools for receiving calls, making calls, recording call information, responding to forum users, rostering and communicating with other volunteers and Griefline team members
-
Follow Griefline’s policies and procedures, and if in doubt, seek clarification from a member of the Griefline team
-
Maintain confidentiality and privacy requirements (for callers, volunteers and the Griefline organisation)
-
Attend and actively participate in supervision/debriefing and peer group support sessions throughout the time volunteering at Griefline
-
Keep up to date with Griefline information, policies and procedures, and attend training and development sessions when provided (either live or recorded)

Prior to commencing the role of Griefline Supporter, all volunteers are required to have successfully completed the Griefline support volunteer training, submitted a Police check clearance and signed the Volunteer Agreement.
Note: Interviews have already begun, and positions are limited, so we recommend submitting your application as soon as possible to secure an interview for the volunteer role.
