As a volunteer LST you would be required to assist the student with his general maths and English. The student has missed quite a lot of school because of illness and requires someone who can give him confidence and positive encouragement. LST's can be retired teachers or student teachers or anyone who has past experience with this level of Maths and English. Past experience working with students who have learning issues would be an advantage.
Tutoring is online and is totally flexible to suit the needs of the tutor and the student. This is your opportunity to make a real difference to a child who has fallen behind in their education and needs your help. As this position is online potential tutors can reside in any State in Australia but must be a permanent resident.
