Jim da Silva Farm is a disability accommodation and community inclusion initiative of St Vincent de Paul Society of NSW. Jim da Silva Farm, based in Mundamia NSW, is a space where people can connect, learn, participate in activities and workshops, and access a wide range of supports. Our work aims to provide opportunities for community inclusion and support for those who need it. This tranquil setting aids participants to rebuild their capacity in an environment where each person is respected, treated with dignity, and supported to develop hope for the future. We are seeking volunteers to be responsible for:

• Helping to ensure Jim da Silva Farm is safe and welcoming for both residents and community members

• General maintenance tasks (such as hanging picture frames, repairing and moving furniture, fixing hinges, changing light globes, pressure washing paths, sweeping pathways, leaf blowing etc.)

• Removing rubbish

• Coordinating clean-up initiatives

• Maintenance of grounds, garden beds and other grassed areas, including weeding, mulching, pruning, fertilising and watering
