**Dream Team Responsibilities: **

This role is about supporting families staying at Ronald McDonald House, to give them peace of mind during a stressful and challenging time for them as they navigate their child’s health journey. As a Dream Team volunteer, you will prepare the House for quiet time at the beginning of your shift and prepare the house for the families to start their day at end of your shift, be the main contact for emergencies, late family check ins and overnight queries with 24/7 on call support from staff.

We provide an allocated bedroom that you can retire to, a mobile phone and a duress alarm for the duration of the shift, 24/7 on call support from staff and a volunteer t-shirt to wear on shift. This volunteer role can be done alone or together with a friend or partner.

**Shift Times: ** Rostered on for one shift a month (can be flexible)

  • Friday: 9pm to 9am (Saturday)
  • Saturday: 9pm to 9am (Sunday)
