K9 Rescue are looking for someone with solid financial or accounting experience within the charity sector. They will report to the Management Committee and ideally will have good inter-personal skills and enjoy working as a part of a team. This role will: • Create and drive the financial strategy for K9 Rescue Group (Inc) • Provide advice to the Committee on matters of finance and fundraising • Lead financial planning for the organisation • Ensure the organisation upholds good governance and compliance, including the management of policies, procedures, controls, reporting and financial records • Report on the financial situation and budget at the monthly Committee Meeting and at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) • Ensure all HR and award obligations are followed for the two paid staff. • Carry out financial duties and responsibilities as required • Be supported by our bookkeeper who will do most of the day to day transactions. • Be supported by a friendly team of Committee members
