Social Media Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and creative volunteer to join our House as a Social Media Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our organisation's social media presence. Your expertise in platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Meta Business Suite, and Canva will be instrumental in delivering informative and visually appealing updates to our community supporters and members.

Responsibilities:
• Working with the team at CSCH to create exciting and shareable content for various social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram) to promote our organisation's mission, events, and initiatives. • Schedule and publish posts using a social media management tool (Meta Business Suite) to ensure consistent and timely content delivery. • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from our followers, maintaining an active and positive online presence. Requirements: • Ability to work independently. Most of this volunteer role can be completed at home. Visits to Caulfield South Community House (CSCH) can be ad hoc so living close to CSCH is an advantage. We estimate that it would take 3 hours of your time each week. • Experience in managing social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram). • Proficiency in using Canva to create visually appealing social media posts. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content. • Optional extra in taking photographs for content. Photographs and content will be shared with you by the CSCH team. • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in messaging and branding. • Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box to create compelling content. • Passion for our organisation's mission and dedication to making a positive impact in the community.
