Crafting Comfort for Ringtail Possums - 24 Nov @6.30pm
Conservation Volunteers Australia
Join us at Sir Joseph Bank Park for a volunteer event that offers you the chance to contribute to the conservation of urban wildlife – with a special focus on the charismatic Ringtail Possum – whilst also nurturing your own wellbeing.
During the habitat crafting you will learn about the importance of urban wildlife and why the homes you build are important in order to create safe spaces for possums to thrive in the midst of urban landscapes.
Enjoy getting our in nature and making a difference. This activity will not only directly benefit Ringtail Possums (and many other species that call this place home), but also create a tranquil space for you to unwind and recharge in nature (or for the kids to run around!).
Catering provided.
