As the Marketing & Communications Lead, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing, developing, and growing the UNAA Victoria Young Professionals (YP) Committee's branding and profile. This role isn't just about marketing; it's about driving positive change and making a difference!

Accountabilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development of marketing, communication, and public relations strategies that propel the UNAAV YP Committee to new heights. Collaborate closely with our Co-Presidents to align our efforts with our vision.
  • Digital Mastery: Seek out and identify communication opportunities that elevate the digital presence and reputation of UNAAV YP. Embrace the power of the web, social media, and other digital channels to engage our audience effectively.
  • Content Pioneering: Develop creative content that speaks to multiple audiences through multiple formats and channels. Bring fresh ideas and innovative campaigns to life.
  • Team Empowerment: Supervise and support a small team, encouraging new ideas and fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Work harmoniously with the Events, Partnerships, and Operations teams to create compelling communication materials that promote UNAAV YP Committee's events and activities.

Selection criteria

  • Strategic Expertise: Proven experience in developing communications strategies to support organizations, teams, or projects.
  • Creative Brilliance: An innate ability to develop creative content across various formats and channels, tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Digital Savvy: Proficiency in utilizing digital communication channels, including websites, social media, and emerging platforms, and there interrelationship to achieve communications objectives.
  • Project Management: Highly desired project management skills, demonstrating your ability to drive initiatives to successful completion.
  • Team Player: A track record of effective collaboration, adaptability, and flexibility within a team.
  • Initiative: A proactive approach to leadership and the ability to drive execution with passion and purpose.
