MiCare is looking for a male volunteer that loves to be with people to provide social support and positive interactions on a regular basis. Our client does suffer with dementia however your regular visits can make a real and positive difference in his and his wife's life - reducing social isolation and improving well-being.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.

This program is part of the Community Visitors Scheme and the Commonwealth Home Support Program– an Australian Government Initiative
