MiCare is looking for a female volunteer that loves to be with people to provide social support and positive interactions on a regular basis. Have a chat, share your smile and companionship with this lovely lady located in Aged Care at Sunbury. Our client does suffer with dementia however your regular visits can make a real and positive difference in her life - reducing social isolation and improving well-being. She loves gardening, 50's music & knitting.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.

This program is part of the Community Visitors Scheme and the Commonwealth Home Support Program– an Australian Government Initiative
